The V St. Petersburg International Legal Forum convened in St. Petersburg, Russia on May 27-30, 2015.

As part of the “Legal and Arbitration Practice” track, a roundtable discussion on “Business Protection in Case of Bankruptcy” was held where practicing lawyers of leading law firms shared their experience in protecting the interests of both debtors and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. The active discussion with a great number of questions and comments from the audience was moderated by Alexandra Nesterenko, President of Russian Corporate Counsel Association. Upon completion of the session, the participants took part in interactive voting on the latest amendments to bankruptcy laws and other topical subjects.

Anton Aleksandrov, MZS Partner, delivered a speech on possible bankruptcy exit mechanisms and the current use of rehabilitation procedures in Russia.
